Surrender

I'm soaring on the golden wings of a breakthrough... one I'm not going to articulate completely here, but I need to mark this occasion in some way as it has altered my Being.

Breakthroughs always require giving something up - some pattern of behaviour, some long held onto belief... and the willingness to surrender that way of being through Trust in the unknown... Trust in what may lie just beyond the closed door of habit.

The transition can be painful and feel nearly impossible while the mind is consumed with staying in control and holding onto the perceived safety of past patterns and beliefs, but once that control is surrendered, and trust is placed the unknown, it is then that you are open to experience a breakthrough that will leave you irrevocably changed. You then recognise how you were only existing prior to your breakthrough.

You feel expansive and invincible, golden...

Newborn and ancient...

I have taken my place.

I have so much to learn from you, and am so grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with you. Firstly, I owe you an apology. I apologise to you Gab, for throwing my frustration and hurt at you regarding recent experiences of my own. Stepping back and looking at my own behaviour, I see I have done exactly what I vowed not to do, and I can see the way I looked to you for validation, without processing my excess feelings first. This wasn't fair to you, and was rather selfish. And I'm sorry.
Whilst our interests vary, and as a result, so does our approach, I know that overall we are on similiar pages of this journey. Your level of knowledge and application inspires me, as does your patience and understanding. I appreciate your endless support and non-judgement shown to me recently. I learn from every conversation I have with you, you bring laughter to my world, and I give thanks for you and your presence on my journey right now. I love you, and you know who I am. Blessings. Namaste.

So true.

Trust in uncertainty -- a helpful phrase that gives somewhere to focus anxious energies
